No doubt about it: a safety sandal should be like the jo_RAPID BOA® black-red Easy ESD S1P - practical, maximally ventilated and with a compact safety concept. The wide side slits are definitely an advantage for ventilation. In fact, they prevent heat from accumulating inside the shoe and create a bacteria-friendly humid biotope. The microfibre upper and breathable textile lining help with this. So much for the sandal. But what stands out here and makes it even more interesting: the BOA® Fit System. If you are used to Velcro fasteners, the lacing system with the thin strings scores points for a better fit, but it is also very easy to use.
